Cultures of Sound: 01.2.23 - 30.11.23

Cultures of Sound was the School of Arts & Humanities contribution to Kirklees Year of Music, and alongside the rich programme of public cultural activity, a series of academic essays were commissioned to explore sound from a diverse range of research perspectives. Each month saw differing projects, exhibitions and performances,  culminating in the creation of the Cultures of Sound book.

Considering the the entanglements between drawing, song making, place, body, history and time, Drawing/Performing the Bath House Galleries contributed to current debates on the importance of drawing.
