The city of Leeds is home to a wealth of arts and culture from galleries and institutes to companies and creatives. Leeds is also home to the Leeds Arts and Wellbeing Network (LAHWN), a mechanism that champions arts and health work across the city. The network is hosted by the University of Leeds’ Cultural Institute. LAHWN drives collaboration between creative arts, culture, academia, health and care to realise the vision that arts and creativity support Leeds to be a healthy city, where people who are the poorest improve their health the fastest.
