Service user involvement, evaluation and improvement

Increasing emphasis is being placed on the involvement of service users and experts by experience in research and decision making in public services. Current interests in the Centre focus on the agency and experience of service users and carers as well as supporting the development of opportunities for meaningful and effective involvement of service users and carer. We have particular expertise in the participation of children and young people in public sector service design, delivery and evaluation and in shared decision-making in health and care settings.
