Welcome to The Centre of Cyber Security Research at the University of Huddersfield

The Centre of Cyber Security Research at the University of Huddersfield is an expanding group of leading academics who, over the last 5 years have established Cyber Security as one of the Department’s strengths. Research in the Centre focuses on addressing practical security challenges, which are important for business and society.

We are a collaborative organisation, working with industry, government, and other leading research institutions. Our work has a strong inter-disciplinary focus spanning Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence with strengths, funded projects and measurable impacts in the areas of Identify and Access Control, Defence and Resilience, and Digital Forensics.

We have unique facilities at the University of Huddersfield, including a dedicated Faraday Cage. We disseminate our research through our undergraduate and postgraduate cybersecurity courses aligned to our expertise.
