The Centre for Research in Music and its Technologies (CRMT) brings together researchers investigating musics and musical cultures using a variety of historical, critical analytical and technological methodologies. With specialisms ranging from music and gender through to contemporary pop production, and film music to laptop improvisation, we are a diverse and interdisciplinary group of academics and practice researchers with a thriving postgraduate and postdoctoral community.
