Impact

The Centre represents practical research which is already having an impact beyond academia. Centre staff work with performers internationally, and across disciplines, sharing approaches which are being adopted by companies wishing to deepen their training processes and enhance their aesthetics. The Centre’s work is being transferred into domains of pedagogy, therapy, and creativity, and has specific impact in a range of environments; for example, at the Ballet Academy in Stockholm,  as professional development for VCE teachers in Melbourne, Australia, and, in written form, as required reading for students of the ITM Alexander Technique (UK).
