Jane is a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for Fashion and Textile Buying Management BA(Hons).
Jane graduated with a first class honours from the Scottish College of Textiles, working for 14 years within a variety of organisations including textile manufacturers and fibre marketing organisations. Trained in textile design, she has undertaken roles in design, trend forecasting and marketing for the textile and fashion industries both in the UK and internationally.
Responsible for developing fashion and textile buying, management and retail courses at the University of Huddersfield, Jane has been Course Leader for Fashion and Textile Buying Management BA(Hons) since 2003.
Jane is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of the Textile Institute.
