Peter’s working life started with British Telecom as a Telecommunication Engineer and then a Operations Manager. A move into the Logisitcs and Transport divisions of the company followed. In a rapidly downsizing business and faced with nowhere else to go, a  career switch ocurred aroung 1985 with a move into HR. This totally unplanned move turned out to be the best outcome that could have occurred, prompting Peter to return to studying and gaining FCIPD a masters degree in HRM. A move into BT Cellnet (later to become 02 Plc) advance his career to Head of HR. In this most successful and rewarding phase of his carreer he helped to lead  and shape the Customer Service & HR divisions through several successful transformational change  programmes. 


Peter joined The Business School in 2004 on a part-time basis, whilst continuing to undertake HR consultancy projects across a range of industries on a freelance basis.

  • Centre Manager – CIPD, Professional Assessment of Competence
  • Psychometric Testing Practitioner - An experienced Myers Briggs Practitioner and qualified to work with psychometric instuments at level A&B BPS (British Psychological Society). A licensed user of Oxford Psychological Press and Psytech International products.
