Biography

Professor Angela Lee joined Huddersfield in September 2014 as Director of Research and Graduate Studies in the School of Art, Design and Architecture, presiding over the management of postgraduate education and research across its three departments: Art & Communications, Fashion & Textiles, and Architecture & 3D Design.

Angela joined Huddersfield from the University of Salford, where her previous roles include: Head of Construction Directorate, Director of Postgraduate Taught Studies, and Programme Director for BSc (Hons) Architectural Design & Technology. She successfully completed her PhD with no corrections to the submitted thesis in 2002, in the performance measurement of new design and construction project processes, at the University of Salford. She gained a BA(Hons) in Architecture from the University of Sheffield in 1998.

Angela’s research interests lies in process management, performance management, nD modelling, and design management. She has published over 200 journal and conference publications based on her research, including 4 books. She is currently Editor of the 1st open source peer reviewed journal dedicated to postgraduate research: The Built & Human Environment Review www.tbher.org
