Currently working on logistics in developing countries, especially:

  • Infrastructure mega-projects
  • skills gaps in southern Africa
  • the ethics of infrastructure investment (& the cost of failure).

Currently focusing on logistics in developing countries (especially those of southern Africa)

Previous supervision has included:

  • Pharmaceutical supply chains
  • Application of industrial dynamics principles to the electrical wholesaler supply chain
  • Stratification of third party logistics supply
  • Use of DEA in fuel usage monitoring
  • Multi-agent systems to promote collaboration among Namibian transport operators

  • Work on high efficiency (longer) trucks. (2011-13)
  • Supply chain rationalisation with an electrical wholesaler (2006-10)
  • Van fleet fuel efficiency (2007-10)
