I am a Lecturer in the child nursing team. My clinical experience is in general paediatrics, particularly with responsibilities in the management of high dependency beds within a district general setting. During my time in clinical practice I have been involved in various service improvement initiatives including leading the productive ward programme for a 35 bedded unit and in developing and implementing training programmes for qualified staff. I am an experienced mentor and sign off mentor and have facilitated many newly qualified staff during preceptorship.
