Biography

I started working for the University of Huddersfield as a part-time lecturer in September 2009 before taking a full-time lecturer position in September 2014. My current role as a lecturer is in the areas of information and communication technology. In the past, I worked in the Further Education (FE) sector.

I studied, at both undergraduate level and postgraduate level, at the University of Huddersfield. I completed my PhD in information and communication technology analysing motivational factors influencing acceptance of technologically-enhanced personal, academic and professional development portfolios.

Teaching and Professional Activities

I contribute to teaching and assessment of modules dealing with computer sciences, software engineering and software design and development.

  • Teaching various undergraduate level modules in the School of Computing and Engineering (Informatics), primarily IT Project Modules (various including supervising final year projects), Database Application Development, and Web Design and Programming
  • Supervising research students and engaging in other research related activities, such as writing and reviewing research papers.
