Biography

I have recently joined the team at Huddersfield after coming to the end of my studies at Liverpool John Moores University. I am currently writing up my PhD in which I investigated the nutritional habits within elite youth soccer players, and I have been fortunate to recently present my findings at international conferences such as ISENC and ECSS. Whilst completing my research I worked in tandem with Liverpool FC, working at their youth academy as a nutritionist as I collected my data. Previous to this I completed a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science: Physiology and an MSc in Sports Physiology.

Research and Scholarship

My current areas of research are body composition and nutrition habits within elite soccer players. I am currently looking to identify field-friendly methods for collecting dietary data within soccer, and I’m interested in looking into recovery habits around match day.
