I am a Research Assistant in the Institute of Railway Research for Innovation in Rail at the University of Huddersfield. I hold a BEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Huddersfield and went on to undertake further research,  graduating in 2016 with a PhD from the University with my thesis entitled “Modelling, Testing and Analysis of a Regenerative Hydraulic Shock Absorber System” under the supervision of Prof Andrew Ball and Dr Fengshou Gu at the Centre for Efficiency and Performance Engineering (CEPE), University of Huddersfield.
