Biography

December 2016 – Joined IRR

January 2014-December 2016 – Post-Doc at Technical University of Delft (The Netherlands). Offshore section of the Hydraulic Department of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences. Worked on the interaction between fluids and structures and between soil and structures in the context of Offshore Windfarms.  Worked also on some projects concerning “man made” earthquakes.

January 2009-December 2013 – PhD at Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (Portugal). “Analysis and Mitigation of Vibrations Induced by the Passage of High Speed Trains in Nearby Buildings”.
