I started at the University of Huddersfield in 2016, moving from NPL where I had been a Higher Research Scientist working on routes to calibrate instruments such as White Light Interferometers. I obtained my PhD in Physics from the University of Nottingham in 2009, and subsequently worked on optical data storage as a postdoctoral Research Assistant with the optics group at Imperial College London.
