Dr. Ling Ma is a Lecturer of built environment. He joined the School of Art, Design and Architecture at the University of Huddersfield since February 2017, first as a research assistant then he was appointed the lecturership in July 2017. Before that, he was a postdoctoral researcher and adjunct lecturer at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology since December 2013. He also visited Georgia Institute of Technology for six months in 2015. He received his Ph.D. in Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

Dr. Ma’s research focuses on computing in civil and infrastructure engineering. He has acquired much research experiences in Building Information Modeling, Data Mining, Remote Sensing, Computer Vision, Agent-based Simulation, Virtual/Augmented/Mixed Reality, and Construction Production System.
