Kath joined the University in 2005 as a Senior Lecturer in Leadership and Management
After working in the leisure industry for a number of years Kath returned to education as a mature student. Following this she worked as a lecturer in the Sports Department of Barnsley College for over 10 years, teaching mainly on higher education courses. Kath teaches on a range of programmes and modules. She is also the Academic Integrity Officer for the Business School.
Kath was appointed an External Expert for the University of Bradford and the University of Leeds. She was an External Examiner for the University of Sunderland, Hull College and the University of Wolverhampton. She is also the external reviewer for a course review and approval for York St John University.

Kath is Course Leader and Personal Tutor for Business Administration and Management BA (Hons) and Human Resource Management BA (Hons) Top-up degrees. She is also part of the undergraduate admissions team and the Academic Integrity Officer for the Business School.
Kath is responsible for the Cross Cultural Studies and Work, Society and Organisations modules and also teaches on a number of other undergraduate modules; Behavioural Approaches to Work, and Management Work & Society.
