Jayne Price is Head of Division for Initial Teacher Education (Schools), Troops to Teachers Course Manager and Subject Coordinator for the secondary PGCE Music course in the School of Education and Professional Development. She taught for 15 years as a music teacher and Head of Music in secondary schools in Derbyshire and Leeds and spent the last two years of her time in school on the senior leadership team as CPD Coordinator with responsibility for staff training and development. Jayne was also the Musical Director of the Leeds Girls’ Choir for many years. She has a particular interest in the early professional development of teachers and her work on the MA is linked to this area.
