Global Trade and the Environment

The research carried out in this cluster straddles a range of different fields, which encompasses the specific expertise and interests of several members of CLEAR. The research is viewed through an environmental lens, which is expressed through investigations into the exploitation of resources and conditions of labour across regions. This has involved a number of CLEAR members carrying out work in countries including South Africa and Nigeria.
