Pharmacy academics within the Discipline of Pharmacy Practice are involved in a number of research activities.

Following are the themes which best described Centre’s vision and mission:

Primacy care pharmacy research

This theme involves research that aims to understand and improve medicines related patient outcomes, and access to medicines research at primary care or at national level.

• Economic evaluation of pharmacy services
• Health services and pharmacy practice research in low, middle and high income countries
• Medicines utilisation, pharmacoeconomics and health outcomes
• Pharmaceuticals and public health

Institutional-based research

This research theme focuses on medicines use research being undertaken at institutional level.
