UK National Ion Beam Centre (UKNIBC)

‌‌The Microscopes and Ion Accelerators for Materials Investigations (MIAMI) and  Medium Energy Ion Scattering (MEIS) facilities at the University of Huddersfield are part of the United Kingdom National Ion Beam Centre (UKNIBC).

The UKNIBC provides a single point of access for the UK research community to world-leading ion beam modification and analysis infrastructure and expertise. An integral part of the EPSRC portfolio, the UKNIBC is a collaborative delivery partnership between The University of Huddersfield, The University of Manchester's Dalton Cumbrian Facility and The University of Surrey.
