Welcome to the Sustainable Living Research Centre

The Sustainable Living Research Centre will operate within the University's ASRI of Sustainable Environment. Its research spans two interconnected themes: Sustainable Living, which embraces the richness of lived experience, heritage, tourism and zero-carbon lifestyles; and Future Mobility, which investigates the evolution of transport through autonomous, connected, alternatively fuelled and shared systems. Together, these areas reflect the Centre’s commitment to shaping inclusive, low-carbon futures through innovative, interdisciplinary research.

Sustainable Living

Sustainable Living has the ambition to demonstrate how people can live in a sustainable way while still experience high quality of life. It brings together research that concerns diversity of living experience, heritage, tourism and zero-carbon approaches.
