Welcome

The Centre for Industrial Analytics (CIndA) is at the forefront of applied research into the visualisation and comprehension of complex data.

Our research is firmly rooted in the challenges faced by the industry, delivering significant impact to a range of different businesses.

Drawing together research capabilities from Industrial Digital Technologies (IDT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), predictive analytics, edge computing, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), communications engineering, behavioural science, condition monitoring and advanced visualisation technologies, we provide new knowledge to support the comprehension of complex, fast-moving sources of data.

We help companies diagnose and fix inefficiencies, provide intelligence about new market opportunities, and coach individuals through the challenging path of new technology adoption.

Our multi-disciplinary ethos enables us to engage with all aspects of evidence-based digital transformation, through open data and hardware, advanced visualisation technologies, High Performance and Cloud Computing, organisational psychology and design for understanding.

As the production of data within the industry continues to accelerate, the Centre for Industrial Analytics plays a critical role in educating tomorrow's professionals through its links with undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Beyond direct industrial activity, we also apply our expertise to other domains where there is a requirement to rapidly process high-velocity data streams.
